We believe the Bible to be the Word of God and the only perfect rule for our faith, doctrine and conduct. The Word of God is “spirit and life” and therefore requires from each of us a spiritual and active response. This response involves a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and to following him.

We seek to transcend theological differences through Christian fellowship, which is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Fellowship means making friends and growing together in discipleship. We observe the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for the whole person and the whole world.

This concern for wholeness finds expression in:
